Approval and maintenance
As the user of a tool, you do not carry the responsibility for CE certification.
You have only to check that your tool meets the legal requirements. Besides that, you are also responsible for periodic (legal) inspections, testing and maintenance as prescribed by the manufacturer.

Periodic tool inspection
A number of legal obligations apply before inspection of a tool. The Dutch Health & Safety Act (Arbo-wet), for example, requires you to have hoisting and lifting equipment inspected annually, even if the operating manual does not require such an inspection. The testing must be carried out as specified by the tool’s manufacturer.

BKL is an accredited partner that can carry out the complete inspection for you. Our people closely monitor the current legislation. In addition, they have in-depth knowledge of the manufacturers’ testing procedures. BKL will always supply you with an inspection report and, where necessary, a test certificate.

BKL will be happy to take the annual planning off your hands. So you no longer need to worry, and the inspection always takes place on time.

Simultaneous maintenance
Faults or defects always happen at the wrong time. Or they happen just before or during an important project. Or you detect them too late. Of course, you want to prevent that kink in the cable. Tools that work properly all the time are a question of good maintenance. BKL prefers to carry out inspections and maintenance at the same time.

Advantages of simultaneous inspection and maintenance:

  • Lower costs by combining activities
  • Repair of any defects before the inspection
  • Avoidance of repeat inspections (including the extra costs and time)
  • Prevention of damage caused by improper functioning of the tool

Inspection and maintenance can take place in BKL’s well-equipped workshop, but also on site. Worldwide! Interested? Ask for more information online about inspection and maintenance of your tools.
