Article written by Gaudi Fijneman:
Hello, I am Gaudi Fijneman, Student of the Fontys University of Applied Sciences. For the past 4 months and with great pleasure, I have done an internship at BKL Engineering B.V. They asked me to program their PickAndPlace Exhibition Machine. So that it can be used as a test- and learning model for programmers and that it can be used as demonstrator at exhibitions and fairs. This machine represents the work and capabilities of BKL Engineering B.V.
My first deadline was the Precision Fair in Veldhoven. This meant that within 10 weeks the machine had to be operational. With my basic knowledge was the software totally new for me. The period was short and so the workload was high. But finally I managed to present a working machine at the stand of BKL Engineering. I am proud. During the last couple weeks I will focus on fine tuning and extension of the PLC software program.
I hope that the machine will support a lot of people with programming and will be the BKL eye catcher at many fairs.
